Build a mirror-match mask in this robot symmetry workbook for ages 6-8. Ten black-and-white activity pages move from spotting symmetrical faces and tracing halves to drawing reflections, repairing missing parts and designing a mask. Includes one color cover in an 11-page A4 digital PDF download for home printing and personal-family use. No physical book is shipped.

Robot symmetry worksheets with a maker-workshop theme

What belongs on the other side of a robot face? Mask Workshop gives children ages 6-8 a sequence of drawing tasks built around that question. Each dashed center line acts as a mirror: eyes, cheeks, mouth lines and antennae need partners of the same shape and size, placed at the same distance from the line.

This printable PDF focuses on vertical reflection. It starts with clear visual choices, then gradually removes drawing support. The robot-mask theme stays consistent while the page layouts and activities change. There are no full-page grids to copy and no reading-heavy stories to work through.

Inside the ten activity pages

  • Identify two symmetrical masks from four faces.
  • Trace missing halves, including eye shapes and mouth lines.
  • Use corner dots to complete a large mask outline and its details.
  • Reflect an angular mask, then try starting with the right half.
  • Mirror shapes inside four control badges.
  • Repair faces by adding missing partner shapes and an antenna.
  • Finish two smaller masks without corner-dot support.
  • Review a center line, a half-mask and an original badge.
  • Finish a mask outline and invent your own paired features.

A short drawing session at home

Print the activity you want to use and offer a pencil and eraser. An adult can read the short instruction aloud, point out the dashed mirror line and demonstrate one reflected detail. Encourage your child to compare height and distance before adding the next part. The blank areas are drawing space, so there is no need to fill them with extra decoration.

You can work through the pages in order or revisit a task your child enjoys. Finished masks can be colored after the reflection is complete; the supplied interiors use black outlines on white paper for low-ink printing.

Your digital download

You receive one English A4 portrait PDF with exactly 11 pages: one color cover and 10 black-and-white activity pages. The instant digital download is for personal-family use and home printing. No physical item is shipped. A separate printed answer key is not included; open-ended design tasks allow different symmetrical solutions.
