Counting 11-20 worksheets at the Firefly Lantern Fair

The lantern stall is nearly ready, but its little helpers still need to check the stock. Firefly Lantern Fair turns counting objects from 11 to 20 into ten printable activities for children ages 5-6. Simple lantern outlines carry the same theme through each page, while the task changes from pointing and choosing to recording a total and creating a group.

What children will do

Start with a full group of ten and one or two extra lanterns. Next, count groups of 13 and 14, explore counting trays with 15 and 16, and connect groups of 17 and 18 to numbered tickets. Count-and-write pages then introduce groups of 19 and 20, with roomy boxes for the answers.

Later activities change the arrangement. Children count jumbled lanterns, draw extra lanterns in empty tray cells to reach a target, and count only lanterns in a mixed display of lanterns and stars. A fair-order review brings back earlier quantities. The final page combines counting a group, drawing 17 lanterns and choosing a number from 11 to 20 for an original stall display. Simple box drawings are welcome.
