Picture book about humility
Gile the golden tamarin likes showing off his bright mane in the rainforest. Mojo the frog spends his time helping quietly instead. When a jungle storm arrives, the difference between boasting and being useful becomes clear. Gile's experience makes room for a conversation about accepting help and noticing strengths that do not draw attention.
Read and talk about humility
A friend's value may be easier to see in their actions than in their boasts.
After reading, try asking: What can Gile learn from Mojo's quiet way of helping? Let your child point to a scene or describe a character’s choice in their own words.
