Lowercase letter tracing in the Seed Library
Small seed packets need clear little labels. This printable activity book gives children ages 5-6 a garden-themed place to trace, compare and copy 12 selected lowercase letters: c, o, a, d, g, q, l, t, i, u, n and m. It is a focused practice set rather than a complete a-z alphabet workbook. The simple manuscript models use a single-storey a and g, with black dotted strokes and starting dots.
What the ten activity pages include
Begin with rounded c and o labels, then add stems to make a and d. Tall l, t and i practice comes next, followed by curved u, n and m shapes. A separate roots-below-the-line page introduces the descending tails of g and q. Large models, handwriting guides and empty copying spaces offer different ways to work with the same small letter set.
Later pages move away from repeated rows. Children copy letters from seed packets onto shelf labels, connect matching labels and circle the correct g or q among alternatives. The final challenge combines tracing, matching and an open task: write one practiced letter and draw an imagined seed or plant. An adult can read each short English instruction aloud and demonstrate the strokes before the child starts.
