Christmas picture book about kindness
Talon the raven breaks a special gift and expects Santa to react angrily. Instead, Santa offers warmth, creating an encounter different from the one Talon has anticipated. This Christmas tale follows how an unexpected act of kindness can challenge an unkind choice without making that choice disappear.
Read and talk about kindness
Choosing kindness is an action, not an excuse for breaking something.
After reading, try asking: Why is Talon surprised by Santa's response to the broken gift? Let your child point to a scene or describe a character’s choice in their own words.
