Ocean picture book about kindness and sharing
Marina the manta ray moves through a shallow reef with warmth toward her neighbors. Grip the hermit crab is defensive and reluctant to share, but a cold current leaves him needing help. Their encounter gives Marina a chance to act kindly and Grip a reason to reconsider how he treats others; Pip the seahorse is part of their ocean world.
Read and talk about kindness and sharing
Kindness becomes concrete through helping a neighbor in a difficult moment.
After reading, try asking: What changes for Grip when Marina offers help? Let your child point to a scene or describe a character’s choice in their own words.
