Turn a pumpkin garden into paper practice with Pumpkin Patch Snips, cutting practice worksheets for ages 4-5. Follow short lines, corners, curves and waves, then cut shapes and make a leaf basket. Includes 10 black-and-white activities plus a color cover in one 11-page A4 PDF. Adult supervision required. Digital download for personal-family use; no physical shipment.
Paper pumpkins, winding vines and a basket of leaves give little hands a reason to follow the next dashed line. Pumpkin Patch Snips offers cutting practice worksheets for ages 4-5, with a clear progression from small starter snips to simple paper pictures. The autumn garden theme connects the pages while each activity introduces a different task.
From short snips to a harvest picture
Start with six short cutting lines, each ending at a stop circle. Longer garden rows come next, followed by sloping paths and right-angle turns. Rounded pumpkin-bed paths introduce gentle curves; tall vine ribbons add waves and changes of direction. Dashed cutting lines remain clear and substantial against white paper.
The later scissor skills worksheets move from open paths to closed shapes. Children cut a square, triangle and circle, then work around a large pumpkin keepsake. A leaf-and-basket activity adds a place to glue the finished pieces. The final page combines cutting, arranging and drawing: use a circle as a pumpkin, draw its stem, and arrange the supplied sign pieces in a harvest picture.
What the printable PDF includes
- One 11-page A4 portrait PDF.
- One full-color cover and exactly 10 black-and-white activity pages.
- Short English instructions, roomy cutting paths and clear start or stop markers where needed.
- Adult preparation notes for trimming cards and shapes before a child begins.
Prepare a comfortable cutting session
Use child-safe scissors with adult supervision throughout. A grown-up first cuts the solid card borders or trims around the larger shapes, so children can reach the dashed practice lines easily. The last two activities also need glue; pencils or crayons are useful for the drawing and optional coloring. Scissors, glue, paper and other supplies are not included.
Print on A4 paper at actual size after checking your printer preview. Choose an individual page for a short session, or follow the order as your child becomes comfortable. The interior uses black outlines without shaded backgrounds, and the color cover can be left unprinted to save ink.
Digital delivery and family use
This is a paid digital PDF download available after payment confirmation. No physical book or printed worksheets are shipped. Personal use within one family is permitted; do not resell, redistribute or publicly share the file.
